What can the Cocoon Aeris bio fireplaces offer?
As mentioned above, this bio fireplace is in a stylish and modern design. Therefore, it offers the perfect solution for those who desire a little extra warmth and coziness in a stylish way.
The distance from the ceiling – find the perfect ceiling bar
The Cocoon Aeris comes with a telescopic rod in steel. This rod enables the adjustment of the fireplace in 7 different heights from 98.5 – 142 cm. This way, at the full extent it can have a length of 182.5 cm with the globe (fireplace) and rotated in 360 degrees. This can be done while the fireplace is mounted.
If you, however, prefer a black ceiling bar, we recommend you get a black extension bar which consists of 4 parts of 1 meter, 50 cm, and 2 of 25cm, respectively. One of the 25 cm parts is necessary, as it must be mounted on the globe itself – but, otherwise, it is optional which parts you want to use to achieve the desired length. This ceiling bar has a maximum length of 2 meters.
Note that here the globe cannot be rotated or adjusted in height after mounting.
The fireplace is thus available in 3 different compositions – matt black globe with black ceiling bar, matt black globe with a telescopic bar in steel, and one exclusively in polished steel.
As a standard, a black ceiling bracket is included for a flat ceiling. But, if you want to mount the fireplace on a sloping ceiling, a sloping ceiling bracket can be purchased – this is only available in steel, so in case you want it in black, you will be forced to have it painted by a varnish.
How much does it cost to have the Cocoon fireplace lit?
Cocoon Aeris is equipped with a 1.5 liter fire vessel, which can burn for up to 5 hours on a full refill.
We recommend using bioethanol with an alcohol percentage between 95% - 97,6 % to achieve the best and purest combustion. Our own bioethanol has 96,6% and works really well – but, of course, it is also possible to buy it elsewhere. The larger the amount of bioethanol you purchase, the cheaper the price per liter will be. So let’s start with the price for 6 liters of bioethanol, where the price per liter is approx. 6 £.
This bio fireplace consumes approx. 0.3 L / hour. Therefore, it will cost approx. 1 £ per hour to have this bio fireplace lit.
The recommended retail price is 1.999 £ for the black globe and 2.799 £ for the steel model.
Multifunctional bio fireplace – a bio fireplace with several options!
The super smart and ingenious thing about the Cocoon Aeris is that you also have the option of using the fireplace as a free-standing one. So, if you get tired of having it hanging – maybe you need to move, and thus want a free-standing one instead. It is also possible without much hassle! For Cocoon, you can simply buy the legs so that it can be converted into a free-standing bio fireplace for just 749 £.
The pedestal for Cocoon are of course also available in both black or steel.
