The traditional bio fireplace

The traditional mantel bio fireplaces work like all our bio fireplaces but should only be placed on the floor and requires no installation or assembly. This also means that you can quite easy move it around, preferably together with a friend, if you wish to place it in another room one day.

The classis fireplaces come in different designs – some more similar to a traditional mantel stove than others. The only difference is that these do not get dirty and should only use bioethanol to be able to burn for hours. With the combustion of bioethanol, you have a stove where the flames and heat can be enjoyed after just a few minutes, without dirt, soot or ash.

Heat output from a classic bio fireplace

The heat output depends on how large the burner is – meaning the container where the bioethanol is filled in. Many of our classic ethanol fireplaces have a heat output of more than 2 kW. How many degrees it corresponds to, however, is difficult to say, as it also depends on the size of the room, and how well insulated it is. Our rule of thumb says that 1 kW can increase the temperature between 1-2 degrees.
